3. How We Use Your Data
- Generate compliance reports for court/probation submission
- Match you with relevant job listings
- Send deadline reminders and notifications
- Maintain audit trails for evidentiary integrity
- Improve the Service (aggregated, de-identified analytics only)
4. What We Do NOT Do
- We do not sell your data to any third party, ever.
- We do not use your data to train AI models.
- We do not share data with employers unless you explicitly request it.
- We do not share data with law enforcement beyond what you submit to courts yourself, unless compelled by valid legal process.
5. Data Sharing
We share data only in these circumstances:
- With your caseworker — if you are enrolled under an agency account, your assigned caseworker can view your compliance records.
- Public verification — when you generate a compliance report, the verification endpoint confirms the report's hash integrity (no personal data is exposed).
- Service providers — we use infrastructure providers (hosting, email) who process data under contract with us.
6. Data Security
- Passwords are hashed with bcrypt (never stored in plaintext)
- All compliance records are SHA-256 hash-chained for tamper detection
- Daily encrypted backups with 30-day retention
- Rate limiting and CSRF protection on all endpoints
- Audit logs of all data access
7. Data Retention
- Active accounts: Data retained as long as your account is active.
- Deleted accounts: Data deleted within 30 days of account deletion request, except where legally required to retain (e.g., compliance records may be retained for 7 years for evidentiary purposes).
- Backups: Removed from backup rotation within 30 days of deletion.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of all data we hold about you
- Correct — update inaccurate information
- Delete — request account and data deletion
- Export — download your data in CSV/PDF format
- Restrict — limit how we process your data
To exercise these rights, email [email protected].
9. Sensitive Data Notice

- Display case numbers or legal status publicly
- Use criminal-justice terminology in user-facing interfaces
- Share enrollment status with anyone outside your assigned supervision chain
10. Children's Privacy
