1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MySearchLog ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

MySearchLog is a job search compliance tracking platform that helps users document job search activities and generate court-ready reports. The Service is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information during registration. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Submit false or fraudulent compliance records
• Attempt to circumvent security measures
• Interfere with other users' access to the Service
• Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code

5. Data Integrity

MySearchLog uses cryptographic hash chains to ensure the integrity of compliance records. Tampering with or falsifying records may constitute fraud and is strictly prohibited. Records submitted as court evidence must be accurate and truthful.

6. Subscription and Billing

Paid features are billed monthly or annually as selected. You may cancel at any time. Refunds are provided on a case-by-case basis for the current billing period. Agency pricing is governed by separate agreements.

7. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you submit to MySearchLog. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.

8. Limitation of Liability

MySearchLog is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Court decisions based on reports generated by the Service
• Missed deadlines or reporting failures
• Accuracy of job search results from third-party sources
• Data loss beyond our reasonable control (see backup policy)

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, you may request an export of your data within 30 days.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Contra Costa County, California.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users at least 14 days before taking effect.
